25 Apr Hyderabad-based mini-bus shuttle service, Commut raises $200K from 50K Ventures
50K Ventures has always been keen on working with early-stage, game-changing Startups. One of our recent investments includes Commut, a mini-bus shuttle service which raised $200K (An approximate amount of 1.3Cr INR). The five-month-old Startup has been effectively providing high-frequency shuttles across 50 routes. The users can simply book the service through the Android, iOS or Windows app. It is said that Commut serves around 700 rides on a daily basis, and it intends to hit a 5,000 ride target by the end of the year.
Sudhakar Pasupunuri, co-founder of RedBus.in has joined the board of Commut and said that Commut is filling the huge unserved blank spot in urban transport by providing an organised transport solution for regular office commuters.
“Commut is solving office commute problem very effectively and doing a bit to save the environment by cutting down pollution, congestion and parking problems by getting more people in less number of vehicles,” said Sanjay Enishetty, managing partner at 50K Ventures.
The Startup plans to use the funds for team building, expansion, technology etc.
